"Internet Video"

This week, I hack into the internet's video signal in an attempt to broadcast my rant about internet video. My connection is spotty, so I only seem to be able to break into the broadcast for short intervals. I tried to disguise my pirate signal by using internet video techniques, such as moving the camera for little or no reason and holding it in my unsteady hand.

raw human madness.

you remind me of a norwegian boy I know.

the eternal crisis of video on the internet is forever depressing his soul as well.

from the looks of this video, you'd fit in well at evilvlog.com. You should sign up there.

Or it may very well destroy what's left of you.

I gotta say, I'm a big fan of the idea that repeating phrases while exercising will help you learn a foreign language. Japan has always been the future.

Our attention span is maybe shrinking, but try sitting down a chap from days of yore in front of a screen and making him watch hours of no-context video. not gonna happen. but yeah, bitesize. i hear ya. the internet IS the godfuckin World's Fair of forevermore.

"xpffe" is used to describe something that was siffy, once upon a time.

Get to the bottom of this! The problem with the internet is that it so thoroughly distracting that I can't really imagine anyone writing or saying something genuinely compelling about what it all means. Fragmentation!! So I'm scared, but kind of excited. You actually express that kind of excited fear really well. I like it so much.

Oh Mr. Eklow--your postmodernism is out of control, so much so that it is post-postmodernism. I'm glad that you included two of my favorites: spare me my life and and Edith Piaf. However, I think your ponderings could've gone a bit deeper.

Honestly though, internet video is awesome. I could live without it.... if you want to call that living.

I really like how you left the end of the post open and kinda vague.

The song in the pirate video clip is very reminiscent of Andrew W.K. I think if he is was going to sing about pirates, that is how he would do it.
